The department of mathematics at Tufts University seeks full-time and part-time
lecturers for appointments starting September 1, 2013, and ending August 31,
2014. The primary duty of these positions will be to teach mathematics classes,
as determined in consultation with the department chair.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and request that
three confidential letters of recommendation be submitted. The cover letter
should indicate the candidates preferences regarding a full-time versus
part-time position. If the candidate wishes to be considered for a part-time
position, the preferred number of courses should be indicated in the cover
letter. Applicants must show evidence of excellent teaching, including letters
of recommendation that address the applicants teaching experience/potential, and
preferably also teaching evaluations. A Ph.D. in mathematics or applied
mathematics is required. Successful candidates must be able to provide
documentation that it will be legal for them to work in the United States by the
date employment would begin.
