solar and other renewable energy system feasibility studies, project development

Energy Solutions is a fast-paced and innovative firm with 70+ employees. We are
rapidly expanding our client base, as well as developing new services for
clients. We are looking to fill an Energy Efficiency Associate position in our
Oakland office. As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad
impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our
work for major California and Nevada utilities, the California Public Utilities
Commission, and other national leaders in energy efficiency. This unique blend
creates a perfect environment for individuals who want to have an active voice
in shaping the energy future in California and beyond.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
â Identification and scheduling of resources to complete projects
â Technology research and literature searches
â Organization and facilitation of in-person meetings and conference
calls
â Regular client interaction
â Energy savings calculations
â Assisting with program design and implementation
â Monitoring the progress of projects and communicating progress to
management and clients
Minimum Qualifications:
â Bachelor's degree in an energy-related discipline. Engineering,
environmental policy, business, and natural resource backgrounds are all
applicable.
â Lighting related coursework or training
â Strong math and engineering fundamentals
â Competency with technical and scientific topics/analysis
â Attention to detail
â Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
â Experience using Microsoft Office
â Willingness to work in a team environment
â Ability to manage project tasks with minimal oversight
Our BART-accessible office is located in downtown Oakland, California.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement
